Hey family, I dont know what is going on back at home.. haha. I dont
know if it the email just didnt send or if you guys did not write one
but ya.. I didnt get one so I am not sure what to write.. haha but
thank you so much for your packages! we now have our flag hanging in
our room.. well kind of. I decided that because I am not very good at
writing that I will make videos so you can see how I am doing. I am
sure you will love them I will send some home in a bit.

haha but ya this week has been another good week in the MTC. I am not
going to lie it probably has been my hardest week here. I got a cold
and was not feeling well but the good news is that I feel a lot
better. Also there was a rumor going around that there was going to be
a missionary choir for General Conference.. I know my dream, so what
we had to do was go to choir and then take a survey. I went took the
survey because I wanted to go so bad...but the survey asked what
experience we had with choir and I pretty much had nothing.. I put
down ward choir. but I guess that was not enough :) Haha today they
sent out letters to everyone that was invited to sing in the choir and
all the hermanas in our district and my companion got invited and I
didnt.. I was a little sad but we are all trying to figure out a plan
so I can go.. Haha I mean my companion is going so wouldnt I have to
go haha I dont know.. but o well what can you do. sorry to spill my
sorrows to you. On a better note a couple really cool things are
happening that I was invited to do. First of all I was asked to give
the opening prayer in next sundays devotional. I am pretty nervous.. I
am not going to lie, that is definately the most people I have ever
given a prayer in front of.. Only 2000+ people haha not to mention a
really awesome speaker who is probably a general authority.. pray for
me :) Hopefully it will be an apostle and I will get to shake there
hand or something awesome like that but who knows. Also my companion
and I were asked to pass the sacrament on this really awesome meeting
on easter which I am super excited for but that is in a couple weeks
so I can talk to you about that more next week. I
One thing that I have really learned this week is how true the Book of
Mormon is and basically our church is nothing without. that has
definately been the principle this weeking is the power of the Book of
Mormon. on sunday my companion and I gave a lesson on why it is the
keystone of our religion and it was awesome I know that the book of
Mormon really is the word of good and that through it man can get
closer to god more than any other book in the words of Joseph Smith.
One experince I had with the Book this week was when we were
practicing teaching about it. As I was testifying of the Book I could
just feel how real the book is and the feeling that accompany it. One
thing I said but it really wasnt me saying it but the spirit. I said
God loves us so much and that is why he answers our prayers always and
that is why he will answer your prayer to know that this book is true.
I learned so much from that. God loves us so much that he has given us
the Book of Mormon which are the words of christ so we can know how to
return to him and not fall away. I know that if we do that we wont
fall away but we will all get closer to god. It is impossible to
sincerly read and not get closer to him. I remember Elder Holland said
that God always provides safety for the soul and with the Book of
Mormon he has done that. I know he loves us all and I know that the
Book of Mormon is true and because I know that everything else in this
gospel is true! I love you all so much! hope to hear from you soon!
