Letter 29:: 4/22/2013

Well I am glad to hear that you all seemed to have a really good week out there in good old Utah.. Mom keep it up with the quilting classes I know you love that... Oh man and dad the great and terrible books. SO good keep it up on those. Only one week left of school for you!!! whoa cool. Hey you never answered my question will that mean that it is the end of all the schooling you need to do to be a principal or do you have one more semester.  Either way at least you get a break.. Braden is going to Africa?? I didnt even know that haha that is sweet. I  am sure he is excited.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ABBY AND HAYDEN. sounds like they had a pretty sweet party.:)
Ok mom so that was so cool to hear about your experience with the project for relief society. and being a diciple of Jesus Christ by not judging others or yourself in the wrong way. Something we were just talking about is how EVERY soul is great in the sight of God and everyone has there own problems and weaknesses including ourselves. That is also why we shouldnt feel bad about not being as good at something as someone else. I have learned it is only between us and God. SO thank you mom for sharing your experience. I LOVED it :) and you are really a disciple of Christ :)
Time really does go by so fast.... Exactly a year ago today was the day I came home from the MTC. I have been thinking about that quite a bit as well because of what has been going on here the past week. My Companion went home yesterday and will be there for about 6 months until he can return. Much like my situation. I learned a lot from serving with him and he was a great blessing for me and I was very grateful to be able to help him in his situation knowing what it was like to be there. It was another testament at how much God knows and loves each one of us and has a perfect plan for our lives. I remember being home and mom and dad always telling me that I was going through this experience to be able to bless others out in the field wether it be an investigator or my companion. Well God has a plan because the two companions that I have had were in a similar situation. I was able to help them. I honestly dont feel like I said or did a lot. But I think I did what God wanted me to do to help them and I definately learned a lot from them. That is how I know God loves them and me. Because in small details such as one companionship. he puts those together who can bless eachothers lives. It is so cool
Before he left yesterday. we were also able to baptize Adolfo!! I was so happy it finally came. He is soo ready and now we have another solid future preisthood holder in Passaic. Funny side note. The water was SOOOOO cold because someone drained the font before the baptism so we had to refill it and it had no time to heat up. When Adolfo went under and came back up and pretty much shouted it was so cold. Atleast he will never forget his baptism now :)
Dad thank you for the scripture I love it as always, It gave me peace and extra strength to keep moving on. I say the same for you. You all are great servants of the Lord keep it up. You really will be blessed and happier! I feel so happy sharing the Gospel and serving.
Oh and that reminds me.. we got to do mormon helping hands service this week. cleaning up a park it was super fun and I had a great feeling that we were truly able to do good. It was a really cool experience
So that is that.  Oh yes next week is transfers and I have no idea what is going to happen. I beleive I will probably stay here so they dont bring two new Elders in. But I dont know. next monday I will know and then let you know. SO yeah wait till then for the treat. AND yes mom send the PB zone bars, I LOVE THEM.:)
