I am sorry but I think i have to brag today and say that my St. Patricks day was better than yours.... ;) Although you did have ham and cabbage we had the opportunity to hear from a member of the 12 and it was amazing. before this weekend our mission President promised us that it would be a life changing experiece and it truly was for me. Not because anything to crazy happened but because my testimony of the Savior and his church increased a lot and I will not forget how I felt during these two conferences we were able to have with him. On Saturday we were able to have a private conference with Elder Christopherson, Elder Callister and Elder Olson from the Seventy and all the missionaries. The spirit that was constant in that room the whole meeting was incredible. It was pretty simple the seventies basically bore testimony. Elder Callister said something that motivated me a lot. That we each need to change our nature out here on our mission not just our behavior. We need to truly become more christlike. it was cool. And really that is what I want to do our here I want to make sure I change my nature so that I can become who God wants and needs me to become and I know that is how I will be the happiest. Then Elder Christopherson spoke. Nothing to much. What struck me the most and was most powerful was when he bore his testimony of Jesus Christ both days he spoke with us he left his sure witness of the Savior and I felt feelings that I cannot deny. The reality that the Savior actually lives became more clear this week. I know that Elder Christopherson is truly and Apostle of the Lord Jesus Christ and I know I felt that in his presence and I know the Savior lives.
So that was my message this week and that really was the most news I have this week. Other than that well i didnt get transeferred!! i am super happy about that. i love Passaice. and they took away our car because we are getting sisters in our area and so they are giving it to them. THat is why we had to move. but yeah. So now we get to walk everywhere and I am super happy about that. I honestly would ratherwalk then drive. It just feels good, except when it is freezing which it still is here. I thought the weather was wierd in Utah. It doesnt even make sense here. haha and people are crazy drivers here so I am just fine not driving. It is too stressful haha But yeah I am walking so the weight is coming off. I gained a little when I came but i have been working hard to be healtheir latelty and so I am about the same as I was when I came out here. Now I will probably lose more because I am walking and It will start to get warm here. but yea we havent really cooked to much sometimes we cook toco shells and beans or just canned food stuff. This week was the first time we came home for dinner. I cooked spaghetti. It was prettty sweet :) I want to start cooking a lot more too and it will be easier this transfer because I actually live in the area.
I am sorry to hear that you all got sick. Sounds like things are changing over there with the counter tops and all. COOl! oh and that is soo cool about Maclean! he is going to come out to NJ with me :)haha but i will love it so much. I already love my mission. Oh want to know something crazy.. tomorrow 6 months of my mission are over :( crazy huh. But yeah that is pretty much it this week I got to go. Oh and Dayanara should be getting baptized next week, I am soo excited, the other one we are still working with :) have a great week take care :)
