Letter 27::4/8/2013

Haha ok well this week was super good. Thanks for your suggestions on getting better with the comp. Basically we both had to learn and we are and have and this last week was awesome. I dont even know why. I just felt really good and positive and so did Elder Gonzalez and we worked really hard. Plus it was Conference Weekend!! Yes I loved conference so much. It was the best. It is really different out here tho. Honestly one of my favorite parts was during the week I was able to study a lot about prophets and why they are so important because a lot of our lessons were about prophets and we basically just pumped poeple up to watch conference. and really I never realizedd how much
 of a blessing it is that we can watch conference. So many people didnt know it was even happening this week and they were the members.. I was shocked and made sure we told them that we get to here from a living prophet and that this is like my favorite day of the year!! It is so cool because we get to here from men that literally speak with God and then tell us exactly what we need to now. I love it. Anyways so that is what happened. the first session we watched in spanish in the main room. I was actually suprised at how much I understood but I di want to understand more so we went in the computer room ffor the other sessions and watched it in there. it was super cool and fun. Priesthood session was different too we just went to the stake center and watched it in english in the releif society room and half of us were missionaries :) definately not like utah haha.

 But I loved it too. I LOVED pres. Monsons talk on obedience it was soo good! and of course I loved his stories also it isnt a surprise that I loved Hollands So good as always. My companion and I loved the seventies from Guetamala too. The one who talked about shaking everyones hands to get money :) that was funny and his talk was good. Especially because it reminded me of a lot of the people we work with out here.
 

 so yea... I LOVED conference as well :)
 

 So we havent been able to meet with the miracle man. because he can only meet on sundays. but we went to his house during the week late one night to just see if we could somehow talk to him but we werent sure where he lived As we sat in front of his apartment building for a little all of the sudden he walked up behind us.. We found him and invited him to conference the next day. We are meant to talk to him. It is cool.

  so not too much else has happened except that it is consecration month.here We started off with a fast yesterday and next week is Zone conference. So basically there is a really awesome talk by Elder Tad Callister about being a consecrated missionary and our goal is too be that.. It talks about sacrificing all for the Lord. For the next two years and how blessed others will be and how we ourselves will be blessed. I made a contract/ picture thing maybe I will send it to you to see.
 

Anyways I pray extra mighty for you dad this week and I know that you will do great on your test!! and then will you be done with school?? Good Job :)
 

 But I love you all so much! I know that we have living prophets and Apostles to guide us to real happiness here and after this life. I feel it each time I here from them. They are not just normal men. And if we are obedient we will have Eternal Life and we will all live together forever! It is so great!
